 Before the band was formed, there was just only a duo that consist of Shaheed Naz and Ridz.Both were born in a different world of music influence.
Back in the year of 2004, Ridz was an extreme hardcore fan of Indie Rock.In the year 2003,he formed a band of those kind of music music genre (eg. Tumor,the band split-up somewhere in the mid year of 2004).Unlike Shaheed Naz,he was in the other part of the world,he's influence of music genre were mostly electronicas eg Drum n Bass , Trance , House , Trip Hop , Breakbeat etc.He started producing when he was 15 years old.The 1st software he used to slowly enhanced he's knowledge and skills was
Ejay Music Production software.
The duo was formed in the year of 2005, Shaheed Naz as the music producer and where is Ridz was the song writer of they're 1st unrelease album Reminisce.This is when
Ridz was slowly expose to the world of electronica and he was touched with the melodic atmosphere that was produced by the electronic instruments.They where producing Ambient and Trip Hop of genre.Their influence came from arist/band such as Future Sound Of London , DJ Krush , DJ Shadow .Both of them were living in the underground music industry for such a long period of time until the day came where they've disassemble as a duo. Ridz parted because of his studies in college at ASK. Shaheed Naz went solo and made some Drum n Bass music using softwares like Reason and Ejay.
In early 2006, the duo was reunited by Shaheed Naz's idea of music. During that time, Ridz main music influence was jazz and Shaheed Naz's was Drum n Bass. Later, the both of them made a fusion of Drum n Bass by implementing jazz element. The first official song that was recorded was ' Call Me '. This song was arranged by Shaheed Naz and later added with some guitar licks by Ridz.Somewhere in February, the band made second song called ' Sunshine' where Farez Khan(former band called Grape) was invited to become the vocals for that song and later he was the part of the band as a vocalist and a lyricist. A month later, Acap(Farez Khan's band member) came along with an idea for a song and later he was accepted for a bassist.The song that he arranged was ' Martini '.
Today, they are merge into an electronic band and they call themselves as THEY CAME FROM MARS!.
